What a great hit out for the team
The Football team was on show
What a great end to a great training camp, with the guys fitted out in a brand new strip, they showed a small glimps of what we can achieve when we get to china.
The Celebs were great,although there was one too many professional footballers on thier side i think we showed that we have a great strength of our own.
Most of the Australian traveling team was there to see us play and to cheer us on, some of the guys got thier head on the TV i hope they can keep thier head and feet firmly on the ground. You dont get this opportunity every day "Thanks Paul"
Can you answer these questions?
1. There is a name for every travelling soccer team, like the Ollyroos the team that plays at the Olympics for Australia, or the Socceroos who actually just played in China and beat them 2-0, the team that did so well at the World Cup last year.
What is a good name for our soccer team? I would like you all to think of a great name for our team and get back to myself, Michael, or Paul. Once I receive the choices Michael, Paul and myself will look at them, pick out the best ones and we can all vote on a name for our team.
2. We have all heard the usual Australian chant "Aussie Aussie Aussie OI OI OI", I would like you as players to come up with a better one for our team when we are playing. We will use it, and we will have the Australian team supporters use it as well.
Same again Michael, Paul and myself will look at the choices pick out the best ones and we all can vote on this as well.
Wouldn't it be great to have our own team name and chant we can recognise while we play.
