Special Olympics South Australia

At Special Olympics our goal is to ensure people with intellectual disability get to have special moments.
Moments that give them joy and confidence. Magical moments that will stay with them for a lifetime.

We aim to give all people with intellectual disability the opportunity to play sport their way, on their terms.
To set their own goals and dreams and to reach them, to exceed them and to share these moments with the ones they love.

If you’d like to get involved or join our program, please complete our online form and we’ll be in touch with you soon.

Working with Children Check - South Australia

South Australia has introduced stronger, transparent and more effective screening laws for people working or volunteering with children.

The new laws mean that, from 1 July 2019, everyone working or volunteering with children must have a valid clearance, such as a new working with children check (WWCC)

You can complete your screening and background check here

Once approved, please provide your reference number to Special Olympics by emailing Gareth Hogan: garethh@specialolympics.com.au
